Just about 30 minutes from Seattle, Woodinville is one of the best places in Washington for couples who want a wine country wedding without asking guests to travel too far from the city. The area is filled with tasting rooms, wineries, beautiful estates, and luxury stays, making it so easy to turn your wedding into a full weekend experience. If you’re looking for winery wedding venues in Woodinville, these are a few I’d have at the top of your list.

Chateau Lill | Woodinville, Washington

Chateau Lill is easily one of my favorite winery wedding venues in Washington State, and one I’ve been lucky enough to photograph myself! I’ve also tried their wine myself, and it’s phenomenal. The family-owned estate sits on 10 acres filled with vineyards, gardens, farmland, and forest, with a French-inspired chateau tucked right into the middle of it all. It feels secluded and romantic, while still being only about 30 minutes from Seattle.

One of my favorite things about a Chateau Lill wedding is how many different spaces they have. Couples can have their ceremony surrounded by cedar trees in the Upper Garden, head to the lawn for cocktail hour, and celebrate under the seasonally tented Terrace Patio.

There’s also the Grand Room and Barrel Room indoors, which means you get tons of variety. If you want a winery wedding that feels a little European, a little Pacific Northwest, and very garden-party-meets-wine-country, Chateau Lill is such a good one to have on your list!

If you love the idea of wine country but your style leans a little more modern, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery is a great option compared to some of Woodinville’s more traditional estates. The winery pairs contemporary architecture with lush outdoor spaces, giving you that classic Washington greenery while still feeling elevated.

Novelty Hill-Januik offers three main wedding packages depending on your guest count and how much of the property you want to use. The Silver Package is designed for weddings of 50 guests or fewer and starts at $5,500 for the venue rental. The Gold Package accommodates 50 to 120 guests, with peak Saturday venue rental pricing at $9,500, while the Platinum Package can host 50 to 200 guests and includes access to the indoor spaces, Upper Garden, and Lower Garden for a peak Saturday rate of $10,500.

Catering, beverages, and service charges are additional, and the venue notes that couples typically spend between $28,000 and $55,000 all-in depending on guest count and menu selections. I especially love this one for couples who want the food and wine to feel like a big part of the experience, while still having beautiful outdoor spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and portraits.

JM Cellars | Woodinville, Washington

If your dream winery wedding involves towering trees just as much as it does good wine, JM Cellars is one to add to your list. Their Bramble Bump property is tucked into a wooded hillside in Woodinville and feels almost like a private little arboretum, with gardens, evergreens, outdoor gathering spaces, and plenty of that lush Pacific Northwest scenery.

Weddings here can include both the ceremony and reception on the property. Couples also have access to the JM Loft for getting ready earlier in the day. With a maximum of 100 guests, JM Cellars is such a good fit for more intimate celebrations. You still get a beautiful setting, plus the patio, fireplaces, fire pits, and all that greenery. It feels like such a cozy take on a Washington wine country wedding!

For 2026, venue pricing starts at $8,250 during November through April and goes up to $12,650 for a Saturday between July and September. Rates vary by both season and day of the week, so couples with some flexibility can find lower pricing by choosing an off-season or weekday wedding.

Columbia Collective | Woodinville, Washington

If you’re planning a bigger wedding but still want that Woodinville wine country setting, Columbia Collective gives you a ton of room to work with. The historic property was home to Columbia Winery for decades and has since been reimagined by Landmark Event Co. as a large event venue while keeping so much of its wine-country character.

There are several spaces to choose from, including the Grand Lawn, Ballroom, Tasting Room, and wine barrel-lined Barrel Room. Venue rentals range from $5,000 to $25,000, with full-building buyouts at the top end. Tables, chairs, sound equipment, a private wedding suite, and an on-site event manager are also included.

Being right in Woodinville is another big plus. You’re close to tasting rooms, hotels, restaurants, and everything you need for a full wine country weekend.

If you want your winery wedding to feel like a full weekend getaway, The SOMM Hotel & Spa is such a fun option in Woodinville wine country. It’s not a traditional winery, but it’s surrounded by more than 100 wineries and tasting rooms. You also get accommodations, wedding spaces, restaurants, and a spa all in one place.

The hotel has more than 16,000 square feet of event space. That includes a large ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor veranda overlooking the Sammamish River Valley.

There are also luxury getting-ready suites, on-site catering, restaurants, a spa, and even a wine-blending room. I especially love this one for couples planning a destination-style Woodinville wedding. Your guests can settle in for the weekend and really enjoy wine country right alongside you.

Lake Chelan Winery Wedding Venues in Washington State

For couples who want their wedding to feel a little more like a destination, Lake Chelan is such a dreamy option. The region is home to more than 40 wineries and tasting rooms. You’ll also find vineyards around the lake and mountain views in just about every direction.

Siren Song Wines sits on seven acres along the south shore of Lake Chelan, surrounded by vineyards, gardens, mountains, and some pretty incredible lake views. The whole property has a romantic, European-inspired feel, making it such a beautiful option for couples who want their Washington winery wedding to feel like a true destination without leaving Washington.

There are plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to use throughout the day. That includes the lake-facing veranda and piazza, vineyard gardens, and smaller indoor rooms. Their Estate Wedding package also includes an overnight stay at The Villa at Siren Song. La Maison offers extra accommodations for family or the wedding party, too. Food and drinks are handled in-house, including Siren Song wines. I love that because it makes the whole day feel like one big Lake Chelan wine country experience.

Tsillan Cellars is one of those winery wedding venues in Washington State that feels like a little escape to Tuscany. The property overlooks Lake Chelan and the surrounding vineyards, with waterfalls, gardens, terraces, and so many beautiful places to celebrate.

Couples can choose from several wedding packages and spaces. Options range from intimate weddings on the Upper Waterfall Terrazzo to larger weddings throughout the estate. Depending on the package, rentals can include tables, chairs, linens, glassware, parking, banquet staff, and an on-site venue director.

I especially love this one for couples who want their winery wedding to feel like a full destination experience. The lake views, estate wines, and on-site dining make it easy to really lean into that Lake Chelan getaway feeling!

Freehand Cellars sits on a hill overlooking the Yakima Valley, and the views are a huge part of its charm. You get vineyards, orchards, rolling hills, and Mount Adams all in one setting. Their Mountain View Lawn is especially beautiful around sunset, which I’m always going to appreciate as a photographer!

The property can host both your ceremony and reception, so there’s no need to move everyone between locations. Freehand also includes many wedding-day basics within its packages, including tables, chairs, bar service, and setup and teardown. Couples can even make the winery their home base for the weekend. On-site lodging includes two private vineyard units and an Airstream, all just steps from the tasting room.

I’d put Freehand high on the list for couples who want beautiful wine country scenery without a super formal feel. It has that laid-back Yakima Valley energy, but still gives you some seriously gorgeous backdrops for a wedding day!

Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard | Benton City, Washington

The farmhouse and wine garden can transform for private events and weddings. The winery also works with local planners, florists, chefs, photographers, and other island creatives. That makes it such a fun choice for couples who want their wedding to feel really connected to Orcas Island.
