Weddings are a lot. And somewhere in the middle of the vendor emails and seating charts, you still have to find someone to trust with the most important photographs of your life. Not a vendor. A person. Someone who actually gets it.
When I show up on your wedding day, I'm not thinking about my portfolio. I'm thinking about the way you look at each other when you think nobody's watching, the friends who flew in, the parent who lost it before the ceremony even started. I want your gallery to take you straight back to how that day felt. Every single feeling, preserved.

this is my story

I was the yearbook kid. The one who always had a camera, always wanted to document the people around me. When my friends couldn't afford senior photos, I picked up a camera and decided that if nobody else was going to make sure they had beautiful photographs of themselves, I would. That was the beginning. I've never really stopped from there. I became a photographer because I believe everyone deserves beautiful photographs of themselves. Full stop. 

I’ve always valued that photos are a testimony to the life we’ve lived in our time on earth and I’ll never downplay how important that is. My love of photography grew from a love of connection; the kind of connection that pulls two people together, intertwining their lives and stories in ways that feel both ordinary and extraordinary.

Relationships are at the heart of everything I do, I don’t just want to be another vendor on your list. I want to build a connection with you so that when your wedding day arrives, it feels like I’m a trusted friend.

Your wedding isn't a checklist. It's the people you love, the details you spent months getting right, and the moments nobody planned for. I'm there for all of it, the raw and the joyful, the still and the wild, captured honestly and with so much care.

I think about what photography actually does. It takes you back to a moment you can never return to. And we all deserve to hold those moments tight, regardless of who you love, what you look like, or where you come from. That's not a tagline. It's why I do this.

My husband and I hired Lauren to do our engagement photos, then had such a great experience with her we asked her to photograph our wedding as well! We are so grateful that we hired Lauren. Not only did she take amazing photos, had so many fun and creative ideas, was professional and organized, but she made our day SO MUCH FUN! Both my husband and I have agreed she will be the one we ask to take all of our professional photos in the future. She helped us to look and feel our best in all of our photos. She made sure to communicate with us throughout the entire wedding planning process and really took in to account our priorities for our wedding day. Our wedding day would not have been the same without her and we cannot thank her enough

My fiancé was feeling nervous and awkward at first but Lauren guided us with patience and gave us fun prompts to get us feeling ourselves and having fun together like normal. She let us take little peeks all throughout our session to show us how it was coming, and we cannot wait to see how everything turns out. We are so happy we chose Lauren to capture our day!
