I was the yearbook kid. The one who always had a camera, always wanted to document the people around me. When my friends couldn't afford senior photos, I picked up a camera and decided that if nobody else was going to make sure they had beautiful photographs of themselves, I would. That was the beginning. I've never really stopped from there. I became a photographer because I believe everyone deserves beautiful photographs of themselves. Full stop. 

I’ve always valued that photos are a testimony to the life we’ve lived in our time on earth and I’ll never downplay how important that is. My love of photography grew from a love of connection; the kind of connection that pulls two people together, intertwining their lives and stories in ways that feel both ordinary and extraordinary.
