It doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves, which makes it feel even more iconic when you see it in person. This editorial styled shoot was the perfect way to bring that vision to life.
This venue actually ranks high on my list of 20 Stunning Garden Wedding Venues in Washington State. Once you experience it, it makes complete sense why. From the cottages to the gardens, every corner gave us something new to work with. I hope this gives you a real sense of how beautiful a wedding here can be.
And for transparency, this wasn’t a real Briarwood Estate wedding day. We brought this styled shoot to life with an incredible vendor team to show what’s possible here. We leaned into a bright, summery, fashion-forward look with a playful “runaway bride” concept. It all came together in a way that felt creative and really intentional!
A Few Details at Briarwood Estate
What was originally meant to be a couple’s shoot turned into something a little different. The couple broke up the day before, so we leaned into it and created a playful “runaway bride” concept instead. It ended up being such a fun and creative twist on the day.
This shoot came together with an amazing vendor team, with planning, design, and florals by By The Wild Floral. I always find myself gravitating towards pinks or yellows, so the yellow tones were right up my alley. They complemented the gardens at Briarwood Estate perfectly and gave everything a bright, summery feel, and beautiful stationery by June Press tied it all together!
And Briarwood itself is just unreal. It’s a huge property (the gardens themselves make up for 10 acres alone) filled with hedge mazes, rose gardens, hydrangeas, and even free roaming ducks that make the space feel that much more alive. It really does feel like a hidden garden, and having the option to rent it out for a full weekend makes it even more special.

She wore a stunning gown by Taylar Made Dresses that was so fitting for the garden setting. Hair by Yevgeniya Beauty and makeup by Bethany Yackel Beauty tied everything together that felt natural to the overall look.
The ceremony design really let the beauty of the space speak for itself. The warm wood chairs, low floral arrangements, and bright yellow tones were playful and fresh. It all felt really intentional without taking away from the beauty of Briarwood itself.

The rose garden at Briarwood Estate is one of those spaces that just stops you in your tracks. It’s a 5,750-square-foot space filled with color, texture, and of course, so many beautiful florals. One of my favorite things about this venue is how every corner feels different. You don’t have to go far to get a completely new look, it’s all right here.

This Briarwood Estate wedding reception setup was the perfect mix of elegant and natural. The long tables were tucked right into the garden which created such an intimate setting while still feeling elevated. Rentals from Set The Table paired perfectly with the linens from Nuage Designs, and gave everything such an intentional look.
The details really made it. Fresh florals, textured elements, pops of yellow woven throughout including real lemons brought in that bright, summery feel, which was perfect for a garden setting like this. It’s one of those setups that feels sophisticated but still completely connected to the outdoors. It’s exactly what makes this venue so special, and one of my favorites!
