Weddings are a lot. Somewhere in the middle of the vendor emails and seating charts, you still have to find someone to trust with the most important photographs of your life. Someone who actually gets it.
Photography is the art of noticing. Of being present enough to catch the way the light hit, the exact expression on your person's face, the small moment nobody else saw coming. That's what eight years has trained me to do. And it's what I'll bring to your wedding day.

I was the yearbook kid. The one who always had a camera, always wanted to document the people around me. When my friends couldn't afford senior photos, I picked up a camera and decided that if nobody else was going to make sure they had beautiful photographs of themselves, I would.
That was the beginning, and I've never really stopped from there.
In 2018 I shot my first wedding and completely fell in love with the industry. All these years later, I'm still here -- still loving it, still showing up with fresh eyes.
Now I have my own studio inside the historic Tacoma City Hall building, a toddler who keeps me honest, and a deep appreciation for the fact that nothing stays the same for long. All of these things shape the way I take photographs.

Where's your story taking us?
I believe photographs are a testimony to the life we've lived. I believe everyone deserves to be seen beautifully, regardless of who they love, what they look like, or where they come from.
I believe the best images aren't made by directing people into stiff poses -- they're found in the in-between moments, the ones nobody planned for. And I believe that the people in front of my camera deserve someone who cares deeply -- about the light, the composition, and the person in the frame.
That's not something I learned. It's just who I am.
What i believe:
The thing about weddings is that they're so wholly, completely yours that you'll want to remember every little detail and I feel that in my soul. I focus on capturing every moment as it is, so that when you look at your photos, every memory comes flooding back...

My husband and I hired Lauren to do our engagement photos, then had such a great experience with her we asked her to photograph our wedding as well! We are so grateful that we hired Lauren. Not only did she take amazing photos, had so many fun and creative ideas, was professional and organized, but she made our day SO MUCH FUN!
