Downtown Seattle Dreams - Fall Escala Wedding

J&R are one of those couples that really set the standard of love for me. Every gentle touch was filled with love and every glance to each other was an unspoken word of appreciation. These two radiated this light for one another, and even more so for their families. J&R have a very strong relationship with each other and their families, so the intimate setting of a micro wedding was perfect for them. I left this day feeling super fulfilled and hopeful that one day, I would have a love the same because now my standards are so high. Even cooler fun fact, they got to have their reception at Escala in Seattle, which is where the hypothetical Christian Grey lived in 50 Shades of Grey. I learned this after the fact, when I went scrolling on the location tag on instagram and only saw tagged photos of Christian Grey and Ana. Now, I’m not into these books/movies, but I thought that was really cool- prime real estate! But- back to the love story. J serenaded R and she truly reminded me of a Disney princess all day, especially after she brought out the vocals. Their love was eternal, and truly gave me the vibe of being partnered with your twin flame. Each partner not only gave each other their vow, but they gave each child a vow of their own as they now navigate life as a blended family, which was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes multiple times over throughout the day. After the ceremony, we even stopped and got bubble tea for the whole party, which was a great way to support a local business and fix the constant craving for some boba tea. Overall, I love spending my days like this, full of love and light, surrounded by joyous families and lovers.
