When Jordan reached out and asked me to be her wedding photographer, there was no way I could turn her down. We actually grew up together, playing volleyball and being part of the tight-knit local volleyball community.
As I transitioned into adulthood, it's been so heartwarming to witness my peers finding love, getting married, and being a part of capturing those special moments for them. Being a photographer has always been a tremendous honor for me, whether it's capturing family photos, maternity shots, senior portraits, or weddings. The longevity of these memories is what touches me the most. Knowing that these photos will be cherished for years to come, bringing back the feelings and emotions of that day, is truly meaningful.
Though we faced a little hiccup and ended up changing our location on the original date, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The rescheduled day treated us to a breathtaking golden hour, and it felt like a sign from the universe that it was meant to be. We ventured to the beautiful field area near Roy, Washington, at Deschutes Falls, and the result was an incredible set of engagement photos for Jordan and Gavin.
